Container purchase and sale:
In 2003, the whole WCT group has sold more than 80,000 second hand and new containers. Approximately 88% of the total business consists of second hand containers. The so-called "standard container" represents the major part of the business, but also special containers like reefers, open tops, ventilated, pallet-wide and so on have been traded.
New Container Supply:
Our customers can profit of our purchase discounts, and order even small quantities of new containers. WCT delivers them to almost every destination at very competitive prices.
Container buyback:
In more and more worldwide locations, we offer a buyback for container, which have previously been purchased from us. This increases the flexibility of the customer and reduces their costs drastically.
Positioning:
Upon request, we provide our customers with containers in locations nominated by them, this includes unusual locations.
Purchase / Sales Network:
If desired WCT can offer the support of local partners in taking care of the local end customer. This eliminates language barriers and time shift problems from the very first moment and guarantees smooth order processing.
Supply agreements:
Due to their strong market position, WCT are able to procure or offer large quantities on a worldwide basis. More and more shipping companies and leasing companies make use of the possibility to market their sales equipment through this network. The advantages are: only one contact and contractual partner reduced administrative expense, clear and unambiguous pricing structure and in consequence, planning reliability and cost minimisation. Storage time and storage fees are minimised, too.
